Christmas Card Comp

In 1989, naval entrepreneur Michael Barwell was inspired to set up a business producing ecologically responsible cleaning products by a paper written about pollution from domestic effluent by Canadian A.M.Gower. Bio-D is now owned by Sara Holtby and Lloyd Atkin and we're delighted to be enjoying our 25th successful year in business. To encourage our junior fans to join in the celebrations, we've launched a 'Design a Christmas Card' competition to win a year's subscription to the Wildlife Trust. To enter, children should draw a Christmas picture with an eco theme and send it to Bio-D before 30th November. The winner will be selected on 1st December. Please click here for a full list of terms and conditions. Entries can also be made via the blog and via facebook.

The Bio-D Philosophy

Bio-D is an independent, family-owned, ethically motivated company, dedicated to promoting the use of hypoallergenic, environmentally responsible detergents that have a minimum impact on the ecosystem both in their use and in their manufacturing process. Where possible, all raw materials are plant-derived and are obtained from renewable sources.
